In December 2021, the Ministry of Commerce of China (“MOFCOM”) took three significant actions in relation to its export controls. MOFCOM published an Export Controls White Paper,1 released the 2022 catalog of items subject to dual-use controls, and launched the “China Export Control Information”,2 an official national export controls website. It is critical for companies to be familiar with these documents and any potential impact to their business with China.
