What led you to export controls?
Export controls came to me as a surprise addition to my scope of work when I was promoted as a Finance and Administration Manager at the subcontractor company of Seagate Technology in the Philippines. I found the subject matter to be an interesting and challenging one to learn and I welcomed the opportunity to manage the export control activities of the company.
I would create a law to harmonize the coding system of controlled goods globally.
